Pink & Gold Birthday Lunch

A lovely long lunch for mums 60th on the Weekend (the main half of Sugarcoated Events).  We dined at the newly refurbished Centennial Hotel in Woollahra and enjoyed the delights of Chef Justin North...yum!  Mum was surrounded by her husband, five children, partners and one out of the 8 grandchildren (new baby Tate).  We ate a delish 3 course meal, finishing with the super indulgent and delicious chocolate ganache cake by Couture Cupcakes.  We displayed a large vase filled with white Ranunculas and soft pink Blushing Brides, the girls wore flower crowns made by my sister Nic, and opened little matchboxes I made with pale pink paper and gold sequin balls holding a little eternity ring inside.  We ate and drank til our hearts were content, and left with little posy cones and lindt balls for the ride home.
It was nice to endulge the birthday girl who is always working so hard for others.  Happy Birthday mum x

Olivia's Rock Star Party

A little Rockstar just turned 8 and celebrated with a Black & Gold Rock Star Party!  We created invitations on white paper with gold polkadots and black envelopes with little stars inside to set the theme.  The girls were picked up by Limo and driven into the city to create their own Music Video.  We organised these gold and white microphone cake cones and star cookies on sticks with 'Olivia' imprinted on them, made by the clever Renny @ Tastee Treats 4U.  We also made up some lolly bags in black and white stripes and gorgeous big white and gold 3 ft balloons with tassels for the girls to have some gorgeous pics taken.  Can't wait to see them! Happy Birthday Olivia!

Pretty Pink Baby Shower

Spring is here!! Thought we would celebrate with this pic of a pretty pink babyshower set up.  Gorgeous bon bon cookies tucked in a little personalised flower box and pink lolly filled baby bottles.  This mumma is having her fourth baby girl! precious & no doubt going to be very busy!! x

Pipers Peachy, Pretty 1st Birthday Party

My little Niece celebrated her 1st Birthday on the weekend with a small family affair (although our family alone is always a large affair).  Little boho teepee invitations were hand delivered with a little Sweet Pea on top! Clever mum set up a gorgeous mix of pale pink cakes adorned with fresh flowers, sequin bunting and a mini teepee smash cake for the b'day girl!  We ate a lovely mix of sandwiches, quiche & salads with bubbly whilst the kids played in the teepee.  When the b'day girl woke, she put on her party frock and we watched her open gifts, play with the kids and demolish her own little cake - heaven!
Happy Birthday little Peach! look forward to watching you grow xx

One Fine Baby

A fanfare of colour, music and babies on a rainy Saturday in Sydney.  We were greeted by Dorothy the Dinosaur which created much excitment with my kids, oh and Peppa not long after! We quickly checked out a few things before hitting the jumping castle and nanny minded the rug rats so I could have a quick stroll on my own.  Lots of lovely things to see and sorry i didn't take more pics but here are some of my faves:
  1. Florals and whimsical tassel set up by the talented Aleksandra
  2.  Baby K having a wonder after the jumping castle

  4.  Scout Lifestyle was also lovely, set up with gorgeous pattern & pastel blankets and cushions on simple plywood
  5.  Megan Morton teamed up with Incy Interiors to create this gorgeous bed and lovely simple styled room
  6.  Plyroom was a definate wow factor! Clever use of plywood to create cots, bunks, desks etc in simple modern designs and styles! definately got my eye on the bunks for the kids!
  7.  The lovely and talented ladies of Hubble and Duke always make an impression - so much so i couldn't get in to say hi as they were super busy....always a fan of their gorgeous suede moccasins, bunting, crowns and Tee collaboration with Lulu Lucky!
  8.  little wanderer looking for lunch.
